We now have slightly clearer images of the proposal for replacing the propping at the corner of Cricklewood Broadway and Cricklewood Lane that was left after the junction straightening.

Depending how the on-street public engagement went, the next stage may be a planning application, at which point there’d be the usual weeks of online / email / postal consultation. Read more

Cricklewood Lane – delayed start to works

You may have noticed Cricklewood Lane’s still open. The water leak by the station meant they couldn’t get final permission to close it westbound, so the first stages have been reshuffled. The lane closure and bus diversions are now 26 October to 21 November. Read more

We’ve been wondering what was happening with the empty site behind the bus-stops and the advertising hoardings just down from Beacon Bingo. A planning application was approved by Barnet’s planning committee back in June 2017. We’ve just noticed that permission was finally granted in January 2018. Read more
