Quietway 3 Cycle Route Upgrade Consultation

Brent are proposing to upgrade the existing Quietway 3 Cycle Route which runs from Gladstone Park to Kilburn High Road.

The route of the existing Quietway 3 cycle route and the proposed changes junctions 1-4 are shown graphically in this link and are summarised as follows:

· Existing uncontrolled crossings or Zebra crossings at each junction to be replaced with Parallel Zebra crossings (for use by pedestrians and cyclists).

· Existing footways widened and converted to share use space at the side of new crossings for use by pedestrians and cyclists.

· Existing raised speed tables lengthened where necessary to accommodate new crossings.

· New Cycleway wayfinding road markings and upright signs along route.
