Cricklewood Green – B&Q site

Barnet have approved the detailed plans for the B&Q site and now the developers have put in their application for improving the council-owned Cricklewood Green – that’s the green space between B&Q and Cricklewood Lane. It doesn’t include the end where the access road is now (the access road is going to be removed).

The plan includes a shared pedestrian/cycle route through the Green. They say “Elsewhere, cyclists would be encouraged to dismount and to wheel their bikes through the site to avoid any conflict with pedestrians.”
