Waitrose opening in Cricklewood

Sharing from Cllrs Anne Clark and Alan Schneiderman:  “Just received official notice from @johnlewis that @waitrose will be opening an 18,000 sq ft store on the old Galtymore site.
Waitrose plans to open Autumn 2026. It’s great to see their investment in Cricklewood”

We had contacted ASDA and this is their reply:

“A quick update, following our emails last week.  Asda has decided not to progress with opening the store at Cricklewood as, given the size, we would not be able to offer the full product range customers expect from us.  It will instead open as a Waitrose.  More information regarding the change is at: https://www.thegrocer.co.uk/news/waitrose-to-open-two-stores-on-sites-leased-by-asda/719369.article”
